Auntie Cassie
Cassie's profound love for animals has consistently shaped her journey, igniting a passion she has always aspired to turn into a purposeful career.
Originating from Calgary, Cassie’s career began at 16 as a kennel tech in a pet store before progressing to an animal care attendant role at the Humane Society. With a rich experience of 12 years combined at a pet store and the Humane Society, Cassie refined her expertise and intensified her commitment to animal welfare.
Kicking off a thrilling chapter in Vancouver was a dream turned into reality for Cassie. Over the course of five fulfilling years, she became deeply immersed in various roles within the pet care industry. From her time at a dog daycare to her contributions as a kennel technician at the city's animal shelter, Cassie gained invaluable insights into the varied needs of pets across different environments.
In the heart of the city, Cassie established Pawsitive Company Pet Services, guided by her unwavering dedication to ensuring pets feel cherished and content within the familiarity of their own surroundings. Cassie takes joy in spoiling and loving on pets that thrive as they embrace new toys, indulgent treats, and engaging activities, earning her the fond nickname, Auntie Cassie.
Cassie along with her husband moved to picturesque town Kimberley, BC and is excited to care for the beloved pets in this beautiful part of the East Kootenay along with infusing it with fresh ideas and a renewed perspective on pet care services.
During her free time, Cassie is actively pursuing knowledge in various roles to better support local animal rescue organizations and build a better future for the pets and owners in the East Kootenay.
